Message for Students:

Embrace the opportunity you have been given in Aotearoa New Zealand to use English.

You are in an English-speaking environment, so learn and enjoy this wonderful experience. Please do not worry if you make errors in using English. As we say, “Learn from your mistakes, rather than not learn from your inaction“.

Over the years I have taught English in high schools, language schools and institutes of technology, primarily in Auckland. As well, I have been an IELTS examiner at various centres throughout Auckland. I have always been a keen sportsman and today I still ride waves at every opportunity on my assortment of surfboards.
